Inspired by the mollusk defense mechanism and the irregularity of pearl formation, our Mother of Pearl pieces are meant to capture beauty in pain and imperfection. The Mother of Pearl Choker is a handcrafted necklace made with Keshi pearls, sometimes called ‘dew of heaven.’ This piece has three layers of chunky pearl strands, and is adorned with pearl droplets ending with pearl coins and crosses.

Sizing: Our Mother of Pearl Choker is available in three standard choker sizes. Each photo above is shown with a 14” choker. Don’t hesitate to email hello@subsurface.tv with any fit or process questions.

Packaging: Our polybags are waterproof, reusable, recyclable, and biodegradable. Our mailers are made from 100% recycled materials. They’re reusable, compostable, and biodegradable. We’ve partnered with our courier to ensure each shipment ships 100% carbon neutral (yay!).

Jewelry Care: This piece is made from 100% natural, freshwater Keshi pearls. To clean, rinse in warm water and wipe with a soft cloth. Sterling silver will tarnish if exposed to salty air, chlorine, sulfur, humidity, perspiration, cosmetics, household bleach and other strong chemicals.
